The vent is in Gainer Springs #1 run approximately 0.17 miles from its confluence with Econfina Creek. A sizable, sandy vent is imbedded in the bottom of a pool approximately 25 feet across. A gentle surface boil is evident and there is a continual plume of sediment moving in the pool. Maximum depth measured in the vent is 11.5 feet. The vent is on Water Management District land and is used for recreation.
