The resurgence is on the west side of the river approximately 1.75 miles north of the Hollis Creek boat ramp. Ground water discharges diffusely through cracks and pores in the limestone of the river bank. There is no pool or real surface boil evident at the resurgence area but small boils from the cracks can be seen during times of low river stage.
