Regional Water Supply Plan for Region II (Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties)

The Regional Water Supply Plan (RWSP) for Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties (Region II) was developed by the Northwest Florida Water Management District to address current and future water supply issues in the three-county region.  The RWSP for Region II was first approved by the Governing board on February 22, 2001.  Updates to the plan were approved on October 26, 2006 and February 23, 2012.

The 2006 RWSP update identifies current water sources, current and future water demands within the region, and alternative water supply sources that will meet and exceed the region's water needs through the 2025-planning horizon. The RWSP also includes opportunities for funding assistance to implement alternative water supply projects.

The 2012 Region II RSWP update extends planning to the 2035 planning horizon and provides an update on the status of plan implementation.
