Consumptive Use Permitting Consistency Rulemaking

The statewide consumptive use permitting consistency (CUPCon) effort is a collaborative effort between Florida’s five water management districts and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to improve consistency, reduce confusion, and streamline the permitting process in the consumptive use or water use programs implemented by the districts.

The Northwest Florida Water Management District is committed to working with permittees to make the transition to the new rules as easy as possible.

You may submit written comments by September 6, 2013 to CUPCON@dep.state.fl.us.  Comments submitted to CUPCON@dep.state.fl.us are received by all 5 water management districts and the Department of Environmental Protection.
