District Headquarters is located near Midway, about 10 miles west of Tallahassee. The District maintains five field offices, located throughout Northwest Florida to administer certain permitting, land management and forestry operations.

Office of the Ombudsman
The Office of the Ombudsman facilitates open communication with the public by acting as a liaison to the District's programs. The Office is also the public's gateway for locating information, answering questions, processing records requests, reporting problems and corresponding with leadership. Permitting
Well construction permitting is available at Marianna, Crestview and District headquarters. Environmental resource permitting is also available at the Crestview and Tallahassee offices. All consumptive use permitting is administered at District headquarters.
